My LEGO Christmas Winter Village

It has become a bit of a tradition in our house to build a winter village and train set around the Christmas tree. Every year we buy an extra set to add to the village, we find that Harry Potter sets have a cozy winter vibe about them that goes well with rest of the sets we have. This year we got the Ollivanders & Madam Malkin’s Robes (76439) set, and now the village is almost a little town!

I put together this little video of the train travelling through it — I honestly got a huge amount of joy from this — specially the bit with “Yer a wizard Harry / Am I what?” exchange 😂

The train set used is the Hogwarts Express (76423) with a modified tender I built to fit the battery box (6370369) and the train motor (621455). The build ended up quite similar to this MOC you can find on Rebrickable, in case you want to build this yourself.
